Badhaai Ho – Celebration of Life Indeed!!!

Director Amit Sharma continues to amuse you right from the trailer to the wholesome entertainer the film is. Badhaai Ho is indeed the celebration of life that instills life within you with lots of laughter and emotions. It is a rib-tickling comedy gone perfectly fine in the awkward situation. The trailer says it all what the film is about; it is the sensitivity of the subject that is well played and the crisp writing of Shantanu, Akshat and Jyoti that strikes the chord with the audience making the subject comfortable along the way. The Cast is just perfect, and it plays a key role delivering this satire to the perfection it is. Neena Gupta brings in the right composure as per the needs of her character and yet firm in her decision of bringing a life to existence and celebrate life. Gajraj Rao is a pillar of wit in Badhaai Ho who nails down each expression rightly to bring the house down with laughters. Surekha Sikri as Dadi is marvelous and does some amazing dialogue delivery that bowls you over. Sanya Malhotra has little to do; plays the love interest and compliments Ayushman well.

Ayushman Khurana continues to entertain with his helplessness over the situations he gets-in. Andhadhun is still in theaters and he enter theaters with this one; ensuring you don’t miss to see him. He is so much fun; the one tight slap on his younger brothers face is a scene that breaks-through with thunders of laughter on the reasoning. The laughter’s in the first half of the film are unstoppable; second half is equally funny too however, it is pepped up with some good emotions. The Mother-Son scene of acceptance mesmerizes you letting your tears drop down your cheeks with a smile on your face. This is the magic of cinema and Badhaai Ho succeeds at it.

It is indeed the Director, Amit Sharma’s labor pain that comes to an end with Badhaai Ho’s release this Thursday celebrating life in theaters near you. Don’t miss it.
