“Resuming shooting after a hiatus of 7 months made me people shy” says Barkha Singh while shooting for Please Find Attached Season 2

The camera has begun rolling again, and the entertainment industry is back in action and so is Dice Media. The channel has recently concluded shooting for the second season of its popular series ‘Please Find Attached’ following maximum safety measures and precautions. The most loved on screen pair Ayush Mehra and Barkha Singh who enchanted viewers with their sizzling chemistry in the first season are back in their groove, excited to give it their best in this upcoming season. But has Covid-19 put some brakes on Barkha’s confidence? Let’s find out.

The globetrotter that she is, Barkha always has her A-game on and never lacks confidence in whatever she does. But returning to sets after a long hiatus of seven months, Barkha felt that she has become people shy all of a sudden. She says, “We resumed shooting after a long gap of nearly 7 to 8 months, and the thrill of being back to work was truly eye-opening. Interestingly, it made me realize that my body had become conditioned to flexible shoot schedules at home, and adjusting to the earlier routine made my body ache at times. Also, I think I started feeling people shy initially when I saw so many people at once on the set.” she laughs, adding that she found it strange to feel shy around people she is generally most comfortable with. She adds, “It was difficult to even recognise people you know so well as most of the time everyone had their masks on. But it was just a matter of a time as the energy on the sets got us back in action instantly.”

If you ever feel like you are the only one feeling different on resuming work… you are NOT alone, and you are going to be JUST fine!!

Harshvardhan Rane, Jim Sarbh, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Saloni Batra, Abhimanyu Singh, Ankur Rathee, Zoa Morani, Saurabh Sachdeva, Viraf Patel, Armaan Khera, Kunickaa Sadanand

TAISH – The Right Heat!!!

Taish comes from Bejoy Nambiar and the director yet again succeeds to deliver his style to the narrative bringing the right heat in the revenge drama that is not cold, it has emotions bringing the right warmth, so much so that Pali the villain doesn’t seem to be one than the circumstantial.

Taish a feature film as well as mini web series released on Zee5. It is engaging and performance packed with a style. Style though wins over substance, yet they never fail to lose your attention, thanks to selective few performances along with the great cinematography and background score that lets Taish rave.

Harshvardhan Rane rules the roost as Pali Brar in the Noir film, he comes from a Punjabi gangster family in Southhall and is deeply in love with Jahaan, his introductory scene where speaks ethos of emotions he carries, gunning down few men at the beginning and later is held back by his emotions of inability of killing the one, marrying the love of his life, Sanjeeda Shaikh. The man she marries is a father figure to Paali. The relationships are layered, and it takes a while for you to get into the Brar family.

The plot is not set yet, there is a wedding in the Kalra Family and then there are instances and a certain past leading to the chaos of actions the guys perform. There is another love story of Jim Sarbh and Kriti Kharbanda, Rohan and Arfa that holds a great depth too, Jim Sarbh has quite a graph of character at display in Taish. He is tender, strong, flamboyant, sensitive and determined to do the right thing and yet gets in the groove of Taish, coming into the revenge mode.

Pulkit Samrat as Sunny is the one who is hot blooded and his quest to conduct revenge is on full throttle. A friend who cares and dares to terminate the guys who rub your friends wrong. Coming from the Fukrey filmography, Taish offers Pulkit a variation to display, to an extent he fulfills too, it is his character that is not fully developed too.

Taish comes as quite a decent watch for its style and substance.

PK Verdict: Silver Plus 3.5*s

“Ek Jhoothi Love Story is a very hearty, relatable and wholesome show that goes beyond a love story”, Madiha Imam

Zindagi’s second original – Ek Jhoothi Love Story, directed by Mehreen Jabbar starring the stellar cast of Madiha Imam and Bilal Abbas Khan witnessed a spectacular trailer launch. The cast’s impeccable performance is all set to steal hearts expecting a stimulating premier launch on 30th October streaming on ZEE5.

Madiha Imam and Bilal Abbas Khan’s chemistry in the show is undoubtedly gripping but what also stirs the excitement is the delight to watch Madiha bring out her character to life. Madiha talks about how she absolutely loved her character and admired each of her traits. I love my character Salma, there are so many things that I don’t just like but love about her. Salma is a chatterbox but she is also very sensible and understands what her loved ones are going through. She gets frustrated like any other individual but she is observant of the things/situations around her and is sensitive towards those shortcomings. At times, I admire how naive she is. Her harmless and pretty cute dreams add a different touch to the character.”

Madiha further adds, “Ek Jhoothi Love Story is a very hearty, relatable and wholesome show that goes beyond a love story. This story reflects the simplicities of life, everyday households, family bonds and much more. It highlights our mind-sets of chasing the ‘Ideal’ when it comes to finding a partner. From falling in love to finding your ideal, the show is a perfect family drama and has all the elements to it.”

Zindagi’s second original ‘Ek Jhoothi Love Story’ is all set for a global release on 30th October, 2020 only on ZEE5.
